HappyBeing Yoga and Wellness, utilise various techniques to practice meditation, which in turn leads to mindfulness.
Our structured, weekly program focuses on breath practices, combined with gentle exercises to mobilise the spine and nourish the central nervous system. Research has shown that a regular practice of these techniques is beneficial in:
·Preventing the arising of unpleasant states of mind such as stress, anxiety and depression. ·Working directly with our emotional habits, helping us to become more emotionally positive. ·Cultivating compassion to self, patience and understanding which leads to consideration of others. ·Reducing stress, promoting relaxation, quality of sleep, and aiding the absorption, digestion and elimination of food. ·Creating a high level of brain wave coherency, improving concentration, processing and integration of information. · And, greatly improves the body’s ability to heal itself.
