"I moved house. I tried local yoga... Not all yoga is created equal. I am happy being back to practice yoga at HappyBeing where my body, mind and spirit are nurtured, supported, encouraged. It allows me to let go, to live authentically and to live well. My being is happy!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you Jannin." - Nik

"I loved the recent Yin Yoga workshop that was held at HappyBeing. Margaux did a fantastic job. My hips have not felt this good in years! After one workshop I feel like I have been at the osteo for three sessions. Thank you for all you do." - Terri

"Scott has been on research leave from his Japanese university since August 2011 and we have lived in New York City and Knox City. Yoko has neck problems and doctors in the USA focused on medicine and physical therapy. She went to a yoga class but it was not relaxing and too fast. After coming to Australia, we decided we both would do yoga. As soon as we walked into the Happy Being studio, we were astounded by the spectacular view through the large glass window. It was awesome. And then we found that Janin was a thoughtful, superb instructor. As we began to attend with different instructors we enjoyed the balance of poses, breathing and relaxation. We found the environment in sessions very positive with the instructors and other members. We have both begun to slow down our lives and become more aware of our bodies. We leave for Japan soon and will miss our yoga sessions. In fact, the highlight of Yoko's stay in Australia occurred in a yoga session. After saying Om and Shanti, Andrew, who was doing yoga next to Yoko, asked, "Are you a singer?" Yoko was extremely happy and will never forget this. So thanks to Happy Being Yoga and Andrew!" -Yoko and Scott

"I joined the HappyBeing family in September 2008 as a 52 year old with little yoga experience. Since then, I’ve been doing two classes each week with Jannin. Fitness has always been a priority to me – I walk most mornings and train at the gym as part of my exercise routine. However, the activity that I believe contributes most to my health is yoga. No matter how good I feel when I walk into Happy Being, I leave feeling better. From the gentle stretching to the more demanding poses, from the guided breathing to the quiet meditation, the instructors challenge you to work at your own pace in a relaxed, fun and nurturing environment. And then there are the little things that make such a big difference: the cosy blankets, the fragrant oils, the satin eye bags, the inspirational cards at the end of our last meditation. As trite as this may sound, every time I do yoga at HappyBeing I feel like I give my body and soul a gift. I can’t recommend it highly enough." - Susan
"My name is Jade and I am 31 years old. I had taken sporadic lessons in yoga during the past 4 years. I had done classes here and there but I hadn't found one that captured my full attention. HappyBeing has and I have been attending for the past year, twice a week. The teachers at Happy Being are extremely knowledgeable and inspiring. My favourite class is on the Friday morning. The whole class gets into the same head space, the room is like an atmospheric hug but the physical component is strict on technique and a fully body work out-something I’ve found hard to find in previous yoga studios. Without sounding all hocus pocus, Happy Being has reconnected my mind with my body. I had treated my body as an un-serviced vehicle for a long time. I leave Happy Being classes feeling calm, strong and loving and my body has gained strength, tone and flexibility. Just love it." - Jade
