Our Classes


Happy Being Yoga classes are conducted in a fun and casual atmosphere; classes are suitable for all levels of fitness. We will instruct and guide you; however you extend yourself as much as you choose to on the day.

Happy Being Yoga Class Types

Beginners Classes - Hatha Yoga style classes comprised of static, restorative postures, breathing and meditation. This class provides students with a solid grounding in postures and increases strength and flexibility.

Challenging Classes - Vinyasa Power Flow and Ashtanga inspired classes comprised mostly of dynamic sequences and static postures to challenge you as well as pranayama and meditation. This class is designed to increase stamina, strength and flexibility. Prior yoga experience is recommended.

General Classes - Suitable for all levels, Hatha and Vinyasa Power Flow Yoga classes comprised of rhythmic sequenced postures, static postures, breathing and meditation. This class is designed to increase stamina, strength and flexibility.

Gentle Classes - A gentle and balanced class for everyone and especially those practicing with a medical condition or injury requiring a rehabilitation approach to their practice. The class will have aspects of gentle foundation on asana (poses modified for the individual), breath awareness, relaxation and meditation.

Mums "n" Bubs and Prenatal Classes - Yoga has been widely used by women worldwide throughout the terms of their pregnancy, to assist with gentle stretching to relieve muscle and back ache, learn breathing and meditation techniques that can assist to reduce stress and fatigue throughout the pregnancy as well as helping the mother to connect with their body and baby on a deeper level. Classes include relaxation and breath work, strengthening and symptom relief as well as some magical extras. 

Power Flow Yoga with Sanjay - A dynamic practice with postures and movements (sun salutations) to create a challenging flowing yoga practice. This increases strength and flexibility and focus while clearing the body of toxins, leaving you feeling calm and centred. Power Flow Yoga produces extraordinary results while being accessible to all levels and abilities.

Sport Performance - A class focused on improving cardio-vascular efficiency, core strength and muscle strength and flexibility. Breathing techniques practised in this class are proven to aid recovery and reduce lactic acidosis .
The class also suits those of you who are nursing or recovering from a sporting injury.

Stress-Less Classes - A class focusing on balancing and strengthening the central nervous system by incorporating relevant individual physical postures (asana), physical postures linked together with movement and breath (Vinyasa), breathing practises to help balance neurological function, digestion and hormonal balance. Happy Being Stress-Less yoga is a specifically tailored program to treat the symptoms and ultimately the causes of many stress related illnesses e.g. depression (after illness, loss or sudden life change), postnatal depression, anxiety posttraumatic stress disorder.  *Special Happy Being Stress-Less oil used in class.
